Leggett to Participate in Groundbreaking for Bold Wheaton Revitalization

Montgomery County Executive Isiah Leggett will join Montgomery Planning Board Chair Casey Anderson, StonebridgeCarras principal Jane G. Mahaffie, County Council President Roger Berliner, County Councilmember Nancy Navarro and other leaders to break ground for the Wheaton revitalization that will transform the existing Mid-County Regional Services Center building and adjacent parking lot into a County office building, Town Square civic space, underground parking garage, Triangle Lane retail space and ultimately, a residential building.

Others participating include Montgomery County Councilmembers George Leventhal and Hans Riemer, Maryland State Delegates Al Carr and Jeff Waldstreicher, and local community leaders.
