Montgomery County Executive Marc Elrich's Weekly Media Briefing Will Focus on Plan for Opioid Settlement Money, Positive Gender Pay Gap Report

Montgomery County Executive Marc Elrich will hold his weekly virtual media briefing on Wednesday, July 12 starting at 12:30 p.m.

This week the County Executive will be discussing plans to use money from a recent settlement with drug companies over the proliferation of opioids. He’ll also talk about a new report on the wage gap between men and women and why the news is mostly positive in Montgomery County. The County Executive will be joined by:

  • Rolando Santiago, Chief of DHHS’ Behavioral health and Crisis Services
  • Traci Anderson, Office of Human Resources Director
  • Adriane Clutter, Director of Recreation Division Chief

The weekly media briefing offers reporters an opportunity to discuss timely and important issues with the County Executive, key members of the County Government and community leaders invited to the Zoom call. Members of the media who wish to participate in the virtual media briefing should RSVP to Tracy O’Connor at tracy.o'[email protected] by 10:30 a.m. the day of the briefing. Login information will be provided after receipt of the RSVP. Login information for the media briefing remains the same from week to week. There is no need to RSVP each week unless you are new to the call.
