Montgomery County Executive Marc Elrich's Weekly Media Briefing Will Focus on Rent Stabilization and $5.75 Million in Community Grants That Are Available

Montgomery County Executive Marc Elrich will hold his weekly virtual media briefing on Wednesday, July 19 starting at 12:30 p.m.

This week the County Executive will be discussing Tuesday’s action by the County Council on rent stabilization and $5.75 million in community grants that will be used to provide support to youth, seniors, residents with disabilities and underserved communities. The County Executive will be joined by:

• Scott Bruton, Director, Department of Housing and Community Affairs
• Rafael Murphy, Director, Office of Grants Management

The weekly media briefing offers reporters an opportunity to discuss timely and important issues with the County Executive, key members of the County Government and community leaders invited to the Zoom call. Members of the media who wish to participate in the virtual media briefing should RSVP to Tracy O’Connor at tracy.o'[email protected] by 10:30 a.m. the day of the briefing. Login information will be provided after receipt of the RSVP. Login information for the media briefing remains the same from week to week. There is no need to RSVP each week unless you are new to the call.
