Montgomery County Executive Marc Elrich will hold his weekly virtual media briefing on Wednesday, August 2 starting at 11:30 a.m.
This week the County Executive will be discussing the County’s response to severe weather that hit Montgomery County this past weekend leading to many 911 calls, several downed trees and thousands of power outages. He’ll also be focusing on new programs meant to help Marylanders buy electric vehicles and why Montgomery County residents have an even bigger incentive to purchase an EV. The weekly media briefing offers reporters an opportunity to discuss timely and important issues with the County Executive, key members of the County Government and community leaders invited to the Zoom call. Members of the media who wish to participate in the virtual media briefing should RSVP to Tracy O’Connor at tracy.o'[email protected] by 9:30 a.m. the day of the briefing. Login information will be provided after receipt of the RSVP. Login information for the media briefing remains the same from week to week. There is no need to RSVP each week unless you are new to the call.
