Montgomery County Executive Marc Elrich will hold his weekly virtual media briefing on Wednesday, Aug. 23 starting at 12:30 p.m.
This week the County Executive will be discussing this week’s announcement about the Capital Beltway and I-270 and the state’s new long-term direction for improving traffic congestion. The County Executive will be joined by the newly-appointed director of the Department of Environmental Protection, Jon Monger, to talk about his new role protecting and improving the air, water and land throughout Montgomery County.
The weekly media briefing offers reporters an opportunity to discuss timely and important issues with the County Executive, key members of the County Government and community leaders invited to the Zoom call. Members of the media who wish to participate in the virtual media briefing should RSVP to Tracy O’Connor at tracy.o'[email protected] by 10:30 a.m. on the day of the briefing. Login information will be provided after receipt of the RSVP. Login information for the media briefing remains the same from week to week. There is no need to RSVP each week unless you are new to the call.
