For Immediate Release: Tuesday, April 30, 2024

Reporters interested in asking Montgomery County Executive Marc Elrich questions will be able to do so during this week’s virtual media briefing at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, May 1.

The County Executive will discuss WMATA issues ahead of Wednesday’s meeting focused on a Metropolitan Washington Council of Governments and WMATA initiative to improve public transit in our region. The weekly media briefings offer reporters an opportunity to discuss timely and vital issues with the County Executive, key members of the County Government and community leaders invited to the Zoom call. Media members who wish to participate in the virtual media briefing should RSVP to Tracy O’Connor at tracy.o'[email protected] by 8 a.m. on the briefing day. Login information will be provided after receipt of the RSVP. Login information for the media briefing remains the same from week to week. There is no need to RSVP each week unless you are new to the call.

You can view the media briefing live on the County Executive’s X account (@MontCoExec) or the County's Facebook page. However, due to a scheduling conflict, it will not air live in its entirety as it typically does on County Cable Montgomery.
