Montgomery County Executive Marc Elrich to be Joined by Maryland Comptroller Brooke Lierman on Weekly Media Briefing to Discuss 'Tax-Free Maryland Week'

Reporters interested in asking Montgomery County Executive Marc Elrich questions will be able to do so during this week’s virtual media briefing on Tuesday, Aug. 13, at 10:30 a.m.
The County Executive will discuss the opportunity available to all Marylanders to take advantage of “Tax-Free Maryland Week" as many people prepare for the start of a new school year. His guest this week will be Maryland Comptroller Brooke Lierman.
The County Executive’s media briefing is happening a day earlier than normal this week to accommodate for a busy first day of the Maryland Association of Counties summer conference on Wednesday.
The weekly media briefings offer reporters an opportunity to discuss timely and vital issues with the County Executive, key members of the County Government and community leaders invited to the Zoom call. Media members who wish to participate in the virtual media briefing should contact Tracy O’Connor at tracy.o'[email protected] by 8:30 a.m. on the day of the briefing. Login information will be provided after receipt of the RSVP. Login information for the media briefing remains the same from week to week. There is no need to RSVP each week unless you are new to the call.
