Reporters are encouraged to participate in this week’s virtual media briefing on Tuesday, Aug. 20, at noon, where they will have the opportunity to ask Montgomery County Executive Marc Elrich questions.
The County Executive will give an update on a devastating fire in Clarksburg this past weekend and its impact on dozens of families. The County Executive will also talk about a busy political stretch in which he goes from the Maryland Association of Counties Summer Conference to the Democratic National Convention later this week. He’ll also talk with this week's guests about protecting seniors from scams, including the recent Gold Bar scam. Guests this week will be:
The weekly media briefings offer reporters an opportunity to discuss timely and vital issues with the County Executive, key members of the County Government and community leaders invited to the Zoom call. Media members who wish to participate in the virtual media briefing should contact Tracy O’Connor at tracy.o'[email protected] by 10 a.m. on the day of the briefing. Login information will be provided after receipt of the RSVP. Login information for the media briefing remains the same from week to week. There is no need to RSVP each week unless you are new to the call.
