Reporters are encouraged to participate in this week’s virtual media briefing happening Wednesday, Sept. 25, at 12:30 p.m., where they will have the opportunity to ask Montgomery County Executive Marc Elrich questions.
The County Executive will discuss Montgomery County’s continued support of security grants to help community nonprofit and faith-based organizations protect themselves from hate or biased attacks. Montgomery County may be the only jurisdiction in the Washington Region that provides local funds to nonprofits and houses of worship to help bolster security. He will also highlight a new Montgomery County Police Department program tied to neighborhood security cameras. This week's guest will be:
The weekly media briefings offer reporters an opportunity to discuss timely and vital issues with the County Executive, key members of the County Government and community leaders invited to the Zoom call. Media members who wish to participate in the virtual media briefing should contact Tracy O’Connor at tracy.o'[email protected] by 10:30 a.m. on the day of the briefing. Login information will be provided after receipt of the RSVP. Login information for the media briefing remains the same from week to week. There is no need to RSVP each week unless you are new to the call.
