Montgomery County Executive Marc Elrich's Weekly Media Briefing at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 13, Will Feature Maryland Secretary of Labor Portia Wu

Reporters are encouraged to attend this week’s virtual media briefing on Thursday, Feb. 13, at 10 a.m., where they can ask Montgomery County Executive Marc Elrich questions.

Maryland Secretary of Labor Portia Wu will join County Executive Elrich to provide an overview of the impact of federal workers on the State and Montgomery County and highlight how Maryland is supporting federal employees, contractors and others impacted by the federal government transition.

The weekly media briefings offer reporters an opportunity to discuss timely and vital issues with the County Executive, key members of the County Government and community leaders invited to the Zoom call. Media members who wish to participate in the virtual media briefing should contact Tracy O'Connor at tracy.o'[email protected]. Login information will be provided after receipt of the RSVP. Login information for the media briefing remains the same from week to week. There is no need to RSVP each week unless you are new to the call.
