Reporters are encouraged to attend this week’s virtual media briefing on Wednesday, March 5, at 12:30 p.m., where they can ask Montgomery County Executive Marc Elrich questions.
The County Executive will talk about a significant drop in fatal drug overdose cases from 2023 to 2024 and outreach efforts to address substance misuse. He will also discuss the fifth anniversary of the first COVID-19 case in Montgomery County. His guests this week are:
The weekly media briefings offer reporters an opportunity to discuss timely and vital issues with the County Executive, key members of the County Government and community leaders invited to the Zoom call.
