For Immediate Release: Wednesday, March 12, 2025
Following Wednesday’s press event in Gaithersburg to announce the expansion of the Drone as First Responder program into Bethesda, Montgomery County Executive Marc Elrich will answer reporters' questions during a virtual media briefing. This week’s Zoom call is scheduled to begin at 12:30 p.m.
The County Executive will discuss a networking and job fair for former federal workers that will be hosted by Montgomery College at the end of March. He will also discuss the significant progress made in implementing the County's ambitious Climate Action Plan and reducing greenhouse gas emissions.
The weekly media briefings offer reporters an opportunity to discuss timely and vital issues with the County Executive, key members of the County Government and community leaders invited to the Zoom call. Media members who wish to participate in the virtual media briefing should contact Tracy O'Connor at tracy.o'[email protected]. Login information will be provided after receipt of the RSVP. Login information for the media briefing remains the same from week to week. There is no need to RSVP each week unless you are new to the call.
You can view the media briefing live on the County's Facebook page and YouTube feed. Provided there are no conflicts, you can also watch the briefing on County Cable Montgomery.
