County Executive Ike Leggett attended the La Main Tendue (The Reach Out Hand) 7th Annual Côte d’Ivoire Economic and Cultural Festival at the Veterans Plaza in Downtown Silver Spring. La Main Tendue presented Leggett a cultural African shirt whose colors represent the Ivorian culture.
