Fashion Boot Camp 101

Montgomery County’s First Lady Catherine Leggett emceed the finale of Montgomery County Recreation’s Fashion Boot Camp 101 held at the East County Community Recreation Center on Friday, March 10. This innovative youth development program aims to teach middle and high school students what it takes to be successful in the modeling industry. Male and female students participated in “boot camp” style workshops which trained students to walk, strike a pose, coordinate looks and learn about the behind-the-scenes production needed to bring a fashion show to life.
