HOLOCAUST REMEMBRANCE DAY

The Montgomery County Council on April 4 recognized Holocaust Remembrance Day. Holocaust survivor Manny Mandel and Ron Halber, executive director of the Jewish Community Relations Council of Greater Washington, spoke about the importance of remembering the six million people who were killed during the Holocaust. Councilmember Sidney Katz led the ceremonies.
