Vien An Buddhist Temple

Montgomery County Executive Ike Leggett participated in a Foundation Stone-Laying Ceremony at the Vien An Buddhist Temple. The new temple will be located at 13915 New Hampshire Ave., Silver Spring. The new 13,000 square-foot building on 1.3 acres will allow many more people from community to come to this place of worship where the Vien An Buddhist Association promotes Buddhist teaching and provides spiritual guidance, practices, and educational opportunities for Buddhists and others interested in Buddhism.
