Fill The Boot

Montgomery County Executive Ike Leggett and Fire and Rescue Service Chief Scott Goldstein kicked off the “Fill the Boot” campaign. Members of Montgomery County Firefighters will be at intersections throughout the County so citizens may donate to the annual Fill the Boot fundraiser to benefit the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA). August 30 through September 6 is "Firefighter Appreciation Week" in honor of the efforts of the firefighters on behalf of MDA. MDA is a national voluntary health agency fighting 40 neuromuscular diseases through an unparalleled worldwide research effort, a nationwide program of medical services and far-reaching professional and public health education.
