Human Trafficking Prevention Committee

Montgomery County Executive Ike Leggett was joined by County Councilmembers; members of the Commission for Women; and the Human Trafficking Task Force to sign into law a bill that establishes the Human Trafficking Prevention Committee. The new Committee will increase understanding of the issue in Montgomery County; develop coordinated strategies for response and prevention; and advise the County Executive and County Council on these matters.
