Raising the Minimum Wage

Montgomery County Executive Ike Leggett was joined (seated at the table) by Council President Roger Berliner, Casa de Maryland’s Gustavo Torres, and Councilmember Marc Elrich, with other members of the Council and guests looking on, as he signed into law a bill passed this week by the County Council that would raise the minimum wage to $15 over the next several years.
