Department of Liquor Control Announces Launch of Communication Center

Montgomery County’s Department of Liquor Control (DLC) today announced enhancements to the DLC general information line by dedicating additional staff to support its customers. DLC has leveraged best practices from County agencies including MC311 to provide enhanced customer service.

“The Department of Liquor Control is committed to supporting our local businesses and the new communications center is an important part of our ongoing, comprehensive ‘Improvement Action Plan’,” said DLC Director George Griffin. “This effort is also a critical initiative in improving our operations in an expanding marketplace and will contribute to sustaining the revenue generation that helps support the County’s general fund.”

The communication center will connect customers with DLC experts and aid with outreach on order status and product availability. Staff is available by calling 240-777-1900 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.
