Montgomery County Department of Environmental Protection to Hold Public Meeting to Discuss Gude Landfill on Wednesday, Oct. 19 at 7 p.m.

The Montgomery County Department of Environmental Protection will hold a public information meeting to discuss the Gude Landfill. The meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, Oct. 19 from 7 to 9:30 p.m. at Candlewood Elementary School located at 7210 Osprey Dr., Rockville.

The findings of the Gude Landfill Assessment of Corrective Measures (ACM) Report will be presented at the meeting. Discussion topics will include timeframes, communication and community outreach plans and potential short- and long-term uses of the landfill and the process and steps for determining eventual re-use.

Sign language interpreter services and other auxiliary aids and services will be provided upon request.
