Highway Services Patching Bel Pre Woods Neighborhood

For Immediate Release: Thursday, December 1, 2016

MCDOT’s Division of Highway Services is repairing roads in portions of the Bel Pre Woods neighborhood in Aspen Hill. One part is bordered by Norbeck Road, Bel Pre Road and Bauer Drive and the other is between Bauer Drive and Aspen Hill Road.

 

Starting in early December, crews will excavate and replace pavement areas that are failing. At a later date, they will return to completely mill and resurface roads with hot mix asphalt and replace deteriorated curbs and gutters. The initial phase of the project will take about five weeks. Work hours will be Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
