Leggett to Hold Final FY18 Operating Budget Forum; Residents’ Feedback Crucial in Determining Priorities

For Immediate Release: Thursday, January 26, 2017

Montgomery County Executive Isiah Leggett is holding the final FY18 budget forum on Monday, January 30.  The forum will run 7 to 8:30 p.m. and will be held at the BlackRock Center for the Arts, 12901 Town Commons Drive, Germantown.

“Public forums are the residents’ opportunity to let me know what is important to them as I prepare next year’s operating budget for submission to the County Council on March 14,” said County Executive Leggett. “Input from residents for the FY18 budget is crucial in helping me determine the County’s budget priorities.”

The County Executive will announce his Recommended FY18 Operating Budget on March 14.

The County Council then provides its input and gives final approval of the operating budget at the end of May.
