Montgomery County Council to hold public hearing on Tuesday, July 18, regarding special appropriation for Public Arts Trust

PUBLIC HEARING

The Montgomery County Council will hold a public hearing at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, July 18, on a special appropriation to the County Government’s Fiscal Year 2018 Capital Budget and amendment to the Fiscal Years 2017-22 for the Capital Improvements Program (CIP) for Arts and Humanities. The appropriation would provide $50,000 for additional funding for the Public Arts Trust. The source is current revenue.

The public hearing will be held in the Third Floor Hearing Room of the Council Office Building, which is located at 100 Maryland Avenue in Rockville. The meeting will be televised live by County Cable Montgomery (CCM). The channel can be viewed on Cable Channels 996 (high definition) and 6 (standard definition) on Comcast; Channels 1056 (HD) and 6 (SD) on RCN; and Channel 30 on Verizon. It also will be available live via streaming through the Council website at http://tinyurl.com/z9982v8 .
