MCDOT to Hold Mock Snow Day on Wednesday, November 1; Will Test County’s Preparedness for Winter Storm Season

The Montgomery County Department of Transportation (MCDOT), Division of Highway Services will conduct an all-day exercise to test the preparedness of the County’s snow plans and fleet. Snow plow operators will drive through each of the County’s 220 plow routes that cover more than 5,200 lane miles of County-maintained roads. MCDOT’s Snow Operations Center will activate, simulating a six-inch snow storm.
