PUBLIC HEARING
The Montgomery County Council will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, June 12, 2018 at 1:30 p.m. on the following bills:
Expedited Bill 16-18, Taxation - Transportation Mitigation Payment - Credit, would provide a refund or a credit for a transportation mitigation payment made by a property owner under certain circumstances; and generally amend the law governing the development impact tax for transportation improvements.
Expedited Bill 17-18, Property Tax Credit - Elderly Individuals and Retired Military Services Members - Application, would change the application process for individuals to receive the property tax credit for elderly individuals and retired military services members; and generally amend the property tax credit for elderly individuals and retired military services members.
The public hearing will be held in the Third Floor Hearing Room of the Council Office Building, which is located at 100 Maryland Avenue in Rockville. The meeting will be televised live by County Cable Montgomery (CCM) on Cable Channels 996 (high definition) and 6 (standard definition) on Comcast; Channels 1056 (HD) and 6 (SD) on RCN; and Channel 30 on Verizon.
