Durable Medical Equipment (DME) Drop-offs for Reuse
Durable medical equipment (DME) in good working condition is accepted for drop-off in the upper lot of the Shady Grove Transfer Station. You may request durable medical equipment through the Maryland Durable Medical Equipment Re-Use program.

- Heavily Soiled Equipment
- Heavily Corroded Equipment
- Incontinence Supplies or Disposable items such as:
- Catheters and Supplies
- Oxygen Tubing
- Adult Diapers and Wipes (unless in a sealed, unopened container)
- Orthopedic Braces such as Knee, Wrist, Back etc.
