Invitation to Apply for CDBG Funding
The Montgomery County Department of Housing and Community Affairs (DHCA) is pleased to announce the opening of the FY27 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) public services funding application process. Nonprofit organizations are invited to apply for grants to support services benefiting low- and moderate-income residents of Montgomery County.
Key Details:
- Maximum Grant Amount: $45,000
- Application Deadline: September 19, 2025, by 4:00 p.m.
- Funding Period: July 1, 2026 - June 30, 2027
- Eligibility: Nonprofit organizations providing services such as health, education, workforce development, and housing.
Application Process:
- Review Requirements: Applicants should review the "Fact Sheet and Funding Policy" and "Application Instructions" available on the DHCA website.
- Submit Application: Complete the fillable Adobe PDF application form and email it to [email protected] by the deadline.
- Public Hearing: Attend the public hearing on October 7, 2025, to discuss community needs and priorities.
