Montgomery County Seniors to Participate in Recreation’s Cardboard Regatta

Martin Luther King Jr. Indoor Swim Center 1201 Jackson Rd., Silver Spring

Montgomery County Recreation will host its inaugural Cardboard Boat Regatta for seniors Wednesday, March 8 at 11 a.m. at the Martin Luther King, Jr. Swim Center in Silver Spring.

Come watch the teams from the Montgomery County Senior Centers compete with boats made of materials including carboard boxes, duct tape and garbage bags! Prizes will also be awarded.
