Montgomery County Executive Marc Elrich's Weekly Media Briefing at 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday, June 18, to Focus on Rent Stabilization Regulations & Juneteenth

Reporters interested in asking Montgomery County Executive Marc Elrich questions will be able to do so during this week’s virtual media briefing on Tuesday, June 18, at 12:30 p.m.

The County Executive will discuss new regulations following the passage of rent stabilization measures in 2023 and the County's plans for their implementation. He will be joined by Scott Bruton, the director of Montgomery County’s Department of Housing and Community Affairs, to provide further insights. Additionally, the County Executive will share his thoughts on the significance of recognizing Juneteenth.

The weekly media briefings offer reporters an opportunity to discuss timely and vital issues with the County Executive, key members of the County Government and community leaders invited to the Zoom call. Media members who wish to participate in the virtual media briefing should contact Tracy O’Connor at tracy.o'[email protected] by 10:30 a.m. on the day of the briefing. Login information will be provided after receipt of the RSVP. Login information for the media briefing remains the same from week to week. There is no need to RSVP each week unless you are new to the call.
