County Executive Marc Elrich's to be Joined by Rep. Jamie Raskin on Weekly Media Briefing to Discuss Recent Supreme Court Decisions

Reporters interested in asking Montgomery County Executive Marc Elrich questions will be able to do so during this week’s virtual media briefing on Wednesday, July 3, at 1 p.m.
The County Executive will discuss his disappointment with several recent Supreme Court decisions that threaten our democracy and create a dangerous situation for people, animals and the environment. His guest this week will be Rep. Jamie Raskin, Congressman for Maryland’s 8th District, who led an effort late last month to impose a gift ban on justices.
The weekly media briefings offer reporters an opportunity to discuss timely and vital issues with the County Executive, key members of the County Government and community leaders invited to the Zoom call. Media members who wish to participate in the virtual media briefing should contact Tracy O’Connor at tracy.o'[email protected] by 11 a.m. on the day of the briefing. Login information will be provided after receipt of the RSVP. Login information for the media briefing remains the same from week to week. There is no need to RSVP each week unless you are new to the call.
