Montgomery County Executive Marc Elrich's Weekly Media Briefing at Noon on Tuesday, Dec. 10, to Discuss Free Recreation Center Gym Memberships Returning for Third Year in a Row and Open Applications for Rec Assist

Reporters are encouraged to participate in this week’s virtual media briefing on Tuesday, Dec. 10, at noon, where they will have the opportunity to ask Montgomery County Executive Marc Elrich questions.

The County Executive will discuss the reasons the County will be extending its free gym program at recreation centers into the new year. He will also talk about goals for the 2025 general assembly ahead of the Maryland Association of Counties winter meeting later this week. And focus on record spending on small and minority-owned businesses within the County. This week’s guests will be:

The weekly media briefings offer reporters an opportunity to discuss timely and vital issues with the County Executive, key members of the County Government and community leaders invited to the Zoom call. Media members who wish to participate in the virtual media briefing should contact Tracy O'Connor at tracy.o'[email protected] by 10 a.m. on the day of the briefing. Login information will be provided after receipt of the RSVP. Login information for the media briefing remains the same from week to week. There is no need to RSVP each week unless you are new to the call.
