Reporters are encouraged to attend this week’s virtual media briefing on Wednesday, March 26, at 12:30 p.m., where they can ask Montgomery County Executive Marc Elrich questions.

Former National Institutes of Health Director Dr. Francis Collins will join County Executive Elrich to discuss the impact of cuts to federal programs, research grants and more. Both life-saving work and jobs in Montgomery County and the DMV are threatened by continued funding reductions to federal research.

The weekly media briefings offer reporters an opportunity to discuss timely and vital issues with the County Executive, key members of the County Government and community leaders invited to the Zoom call.
