Montgomery County Executive Marc Elrich's Weekly Media Briefing at 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 3, to Focus on Labor Impacts of Federal Workforce Reductions and Program Cuts

Reporters interested in asking Montgomery County Executive Marc Elrich questions will be able to do so during this week’s virtual media briefing, which will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 3.

The County Executive will talk about the impacts Montgomery County is experiencing due to disruptions in the labor force caused by federal cutbacks and the defunding of key programs. His guest this week will be:

• Maryland Department of Labor Deputy Secretary Jason Perkins-Cohen 

The weekly media briefings offer reporters an opportunity to discuss timely and vital issues with the County Executive, key members of the County Government and community leaders invited to the Zoom call.
