For Immediate Release: Tuesday, November 4, 2025
Reporters interested in asking Montgomery County Executive Marc Elrich questions will be able to do so during this week’s virtual media briefing, which will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 5.
The County Executive will discuss his economic mission to China and Japan. He will discuss why he participated in the “Standing With Solutions” rally immediately before the virtual media briefing. The County Executive will also focus on the 10-year anniversary of the Age-Friendly Montgomery initiative with this week’s special guest, Dr. Patrice McGhee, the County’s Chief of Aging and Disability Services.
The weekly media briefings offer reporters an opportunity to discuss timely and vital issues with the County Executive, key members of the County Government and community leaders invited to the Zoom call. Media members who wish to participate in the virtual media briefing should RSVP to Tracy O’Connor at tracy.o'[email protected] on the day of the briefing. Login information will be provided after receipt of the RSVP. Login information for the media briefing remains the same from week to week. There is no need to RSVP each week unless you are new to the call.
You can view the media briefing live on the County's Facebook page and YouTube page. Provided there are no conflicts, you can also watch the briefing on County Cable Montgomery.
