Reporters interested in asking Montgomery County Executive Marc Elrich questions will have the opportunity to do so during this week’s virtual media briefing, scheduled for 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 3.
The County Executive will discuss the latest unemployment data for Montgomery County that is scheduled to be posted tomorrow, Dec 3, by the Bureau of Labor Statistics. He will address efforts of WorkSource Montgomery to find those unemployed new work, an update on the new Mobilize Montgomery Federal Worksource Career Center that opened in Wheaton in October, as well as efforts of the County to diversify its economy away from the federal government towards industries such as bio-life science, international companies, and manufacturing.
