Montgomery County Executive Marc Elrich to Attend Ribbon Cutting for 98-Unit Bracken Square Affordable Housing Development in Silver Spring

Montgomery County Executive Marc Elrich will join housing developers TM Associates and Green Street Housing, State Delegate Lorig Charkoudian, and Councilmember Kate Stewart on Monday, Dec. 8, for a grand opening and ribbon cutting at Bracken Square, a 98-unit affordable housing development in Silver Spring.   

The Montgomery County Department of Housing and Community Affairs (DHCA) provided a total of $9.5 million in financing to support the construction of the new development, which also was supported by Low Income Housing Tax Credits (LIHTC) and other funding provided by the State of Maryland. All units at Bracken Square are affordable to households earning between 30% and 80% of Area Median Income (AMI).
