Montgomery County Executive Marc Elrich's Weekly Media Briefing at 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 14, to Focus on First Day of General Assembly, Protecting Immigrant Communities

Reporters interested in asking Montgomery County Executive Marc Elrich questions will have the opportunity to do so during this week’s virtual media briefing, scheduled for 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 14.

The County Executive will conduct his media briefing from Annapolis this week after being in attendance for the opening of the 2026 General Assembly. He’ll highlight the introduction of the Trust Act during the County Council meeting on Tuesday and the need to ensure that Montgomery County remains a welcoming community for everyone.

The weekly media briefings offer reporters an opportunity to discuss timely and vital issues with the County Executive, key members of the County Government, and community leaders invited to the Zoom call. This week, Monique Sanfuentes, administrative director of community affairs and population health at Suburban Hospital, will join the health team to discuss the health community’s role in the Community Health Improvement Plan.

Login information will be provided after receipt of the RSVP. Login information for the media briefing remains the same from week to week. There is no need to RSVP each week unless you are new to the call.
