Ribbon-cutting Opens Montgomery County’s First Combined Library Community Recreation Center and Local Park

Hundreds of residents turned out to celebrate the ribbon-cutting and grand opening of the Wheaton Library and Community Recreation Center and Wheaton Local Park located at 11701 Georgia Ave. The 92,000-square foot building is the County’s first combined multiplex to include a library, community recreation center, Friends of the Library used bookstore, and local park.
