RADA Opens in Germantown

Montgomery County Executive Marc Elrich helped cut the ribbon for RADA Technologies’ U.S. headquarters and manufacturing facility in Germantown. The company is a joint venture between Israeli-based RADA Electronic Industries and Maryland-based SAZE Technologies, and designs and manufactures radar sensors for active protection systems and for the detection of unmanned aerial vehicles. The company will be occupying 30,000 square feet of space at 20511 Seneca Meadows Parkway in Germantown, and is projecting to employ 60 high-skilled technical workers. The County facilitated RADA’s relocation and expansion through a $50,000 Economic Development Fund conditional grant, while the State of Maryland provided a $300,000 conditional loan.
