Honoring Heroic First Responders

Council President Sidney Katz and County Executive Marc Elrich presented a proclamation honoring Montgomery County Police Department (MCPD) Sergeant Scott Brooks and Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Service Lieutenant Wesley C. Owens for their decisive action and heroic efforts to save the lives of two community members during a house fire on Stanley Lane in Colesville on July 16, 2019.
