Weekly Media Briefing
Reporters are encouraged to participate in this week’s virtual media briefing on Wednesday, Sept. 4, at 11 a.m., where they will have the opportunity to ask Montgomery County Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) Rich Madaleno questions. County Executive Marc Elrich is away on business this week. The CAO speak with the new Montgomery County Public Schools (MCPS) Chief of Security and Compliance Marcus Jones about the school district's approach to school safety. They will be joined by Montgomery County Police Department's (MCPD) Acting Assistant Chief David McBain to talk about how MCPD and MCPS will be collaborating moving forward.
