Building Safety Month

Montgomery County Executive Marc Elrich and the Montgomery County Council have proclaimed the month of May as Building Safety Month. At the proclamation ceremony in Rockville, they were joined by representatives from the Department of Permitting Services (DPS), Fire and Rescue Service, Department of Housing and Community Affairs, and the Department of Transportation. As part of Building Safety Month, DPS is offering free, deck maintenance inspections for homeowners. Watch the video, and view more photos.
