Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month

On May 3, 2022, the Council commemorated Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month in our community with a focus on collaboration through the arts. We are grateful to all the residents who attended and shared their experiences. Those who spoke at the event included Maryland State Senator Susan Lee, Maryland State Delegate Lily Qi, Maryland State Delegate Kumar Barve, Dr. Alan Cheung, Devang Shah and a special video message from Ambassador Katherine Tai of the Office of the U.S. Trade Representative.
