Free Fare on all Ride On Buses Through July

Fares remain free at least through the month of July. The reduced $1 fare will restart in August. Riders can use their SmarTrips cards or pay with cash at the ticket vending machines before boarding.

Seniors, people with disabilities and youth under 18 (older if still in high school) can ride free on Ride On and select Metro buses in Montgomery County at all times. Seniors can use the Senior SmarTrip Card or Medicare Card with a photo ID and youth can use the Youth Cruiser SmarTrip Card.
