50th Anniversary of CCI Health Services
Councilmembers Will Jawando and Kate Stewart were joined by County Executive Elrich for a proclamation presentation to celebrate the 50th anniversary of CCI Health Services. The presentation included comments from Dr. Sonya Bruton, president and CEO of CCI Health Services.
Over the last 50 years, CCI has provided County residents with many health services like dental care, behavioral #healthcare, #nutrition services, #prenatalcare, #familyplanning, and HIV/AIDS prevention and treatment. It was also an active partner in the County's COVID-19 response.
For 32 years CCI has provided access to the Women, Infant, and Children’s Supplemental Nutrition Program (#WIC). It is the largest WIC provider in Maryland and operates in 12 locations including #Gaithersburg, #Rockville, #SilverSpring, #TakomaPark and #Wheaton. For more information, visit cciweb.org.
