Celebrating Aubrey Campbell's Make-A-Wish Trip

Councilmembers Sidney Katz, Laurie-Anne Sayles and Will Jawando presented a proclamation to Aubrey Campbell, a brave and intelligent young woman who inspires all those around her, and whose wish has been granted by the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

Aubrey’s struggle with rare diseases dates back to 2015 when she was only three years old. She has since been diagnosed with three rare autoimmune disorders, and two rare infectious diseases. Each represents a new challenge for her and her family, but she continues to be strong and resilient.

Make-A-Wish's mission is to grant children who are sick, many with rare illnesses, a single wish with the hope that it can be lifechanging for the child. They have lightened the load of more than 550,000 children worldwide, including Aubrey, by granting her wish of going to Hawaii.
