Recognizing Officer Harry A. Dunn of the U.S. Capitol Police
On June 27, 2023, Councilmember Natali Fani-González and County Executive Marc Elrich presented a proclamation to Officer Harry A. Dunn of the U.S. Capitol Police, who protected the country during the January 6 attack on the Capitol, all while experiencing direct physical attacks and racial epithets from those storming the building. On behalf of all Montgomery County residents and citizens nationwide, we express our gratitude for the bravery and heroism that Officer Dunn displayed during the January 6th attack on Capitol Hill.
