Tenth Annual Hispanic Heritage Month Commemoration

The Montgomery County Council hosted its tenth annual Hispanic Heritage Month commemoration on Tuesday, Oct. 3, 2023. The theme for this year’s commemoration was “Nosotros: The Rise of Latino Influence in the United States.” The Council was joined by the Albert Einstein High School Latin Dance team known as the Titanes Salseros.

The event included a commemorative video featuring the Arbaiza family and La Casita Pupuseria, Pedro Matamoros and Frank's Burger Plance, Tom Perez from the White House Office of Intergovernmental Affairs, Lt. Kathy Estrada from the Montgomery County Police Department and Carlos Repreza from the Street Outreach Network.
