Celebrating Earth Day
On April 23, 2024, Councilmember Evan Glass, Council Vice President Kate Stewart and Councilmember Marilyn Balcombe present a proclamation in celebration of Earth Day 2024. They were joined by Jon Monger, director of the Montgomery County Department of Environmental Protection (DEP). The theme for Earth Day 2024 is “Planet vs Plastics,” a call to the action required to have a sustainable world for future generations.
